Why Storytelling?
For thousands of years story is how people shared information. Story was the primary source for traditions, history, and culture building. It’s still true today. There’s magic in the room every year when 10 new nonprofits share their stories. As each person takes the stage there is a physical response in the audience.
Around the room you will hear collective gasps and shared laughter — you’ll see people lean in, captivated. And there will be more than one hand that brushes away tears. That doesn’t happen with a pie chart about a nonprofit’s needs. It only happens with a story.

Victory Cup is fortunate to have a group of world-class storytelling experts dedicate their time to help teach passionate nonprofit leaders how to hone in on this craft.
We do this through our day-long story training workshops and several follow up coaching sessions.Our goal is for all of our finalists to have a polished, well-communicated 2.5-minute story that best showcases their organization in front of hundreds of Central Florida’s business leaders
